Welcome, and thanks for stopping by at The Marvellous Matthews of Mixology! Pop yourself down on the comfy chair, and I’ll tell you a little about myself whilst I get you drink.

I’ve had an (un)healthy interest in the fine art of drinking for a good proportion of my adult life, but in recent years have attempted to refine it to something that approaches respectability.  Where once, in my teenage years I could be found in a park huddled around a bottle of cheap cider shouting at passers by, these days you’ll find me sitting in a cocktail bar, gently sipping my old fashioned, mumbling obscenities under my breath at passers by.  Far classier.

I found a kindred spirit in Matt2, and we have since done our utmost to excite our tastebuds and fuddle our brains working our way through the recipes on this site.  I sincerely hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

In my spare time, I also do a little drumming with JB & The Shufflers.
