Lynchburg Lemonade

This refreshing summer cocktail derives its name due to Jack Daniel’s typically being used as the base spirit. And as we all know, JD is produced in Lynchburg, Tennessee. (Which for some time I was under the impression was also where the term ‘lynching’ came from…I was wrong!)

However, don’t be tied to Jack – any decent bourbon (or sour mash Tennessee whiskey for the pedants out there) will result in a delicious (better?) tipple.

I love this drink, and consider it to be one of my most dependable recipes.
