Lavender Martini
 

‘Straight’ gin or vodka martinis are heavy hitting drinks (effectively pure liquor). This variation has the classic martini feel, but the lavender syrup and the soda smooth the edges.


Lavender syrup can be tricky to source (we got ours from Lille). One for the internet maybe?


As with all martinis, it’s worth splashing out on a decent vermouth such as Noilly Prat.

The Marvellous Method


Measure everything but the soda over ice and stir for about 5 minutes. Serve in a chilled martini glass and top up with a little soda.
